FX Solutions was founded in 2001 by veteran Wall Street foreign exchange specialists. With the help of industry leading programmers and developers, FX Solutions developed its proprietary Global Trading System. FX Solutions has been recognized as one of America's fastest growing private companies by Inc. magazine for three consecutive years and our GTS platform has received several industry awards.

Michael Cairns, Chief Executive Officer Michael assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2009 and has overall responsibility for the Company’s business and global strategy. Michael has been with FX Solutions since it’s inception in 2001 and has played a vital role in providing the business rules and logic behind the award-winning GTS platform. He also helped design and develop the Company’s risk management systems and algorithmic pricing logic. Michael brings a wealth of FX experience to FX Solutions having managed Forward FX and the trading of Government Securities for over 15 years at several major European banks; Kredietbank New York, Istituto Bancario di Torino, New York, National Westminster Bank PLC, New York and Ulster Bank, Belfast Northern Ireland.

Walter J. Zuck, Chief Operations Officer Walter accepted the role of Chief Operations Officer of FX Solutions in 2009 having previously held the position of Director of Compliance. As Chief Operating Officer, Walter is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company with specific focus on institutional sales and partner relationships. Walter joined FX Solutions in 2002 and has been extremely instrumental in helping to formulate the Company’s regulatory and compliance policy, contributing to its 100% clean regulatory record. He has also been influential in helping to build FX Solutions global presence through his involvement with the institutional sales team and the Company’s marketing division. Walter has a 30 year background in FX having previously managed trading teams at First National Bank of Chicago, New York, Metallgesellshaft, New York, Continental Grain Co., New York and at Marine Midland Bank both in New York and London.

Michael J. Dugan, Chief Administrative Officer Mike has more than 25 years experience in the financial services sector having joined FX Solutions in 2008 from Prudential Equity Group LLC, New York (the former Prudential Securities Inc) where he held the roles of both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Mike managed the financial and administrative functions for numerous Prudential business units including Investment Banking, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Sales and Trading and Equity Research. Mike joined Prudential having previously worked at First Rock Financial Corporation, New York where he held the position of Controller and at Merrill Lynch & Company, New York. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey (AICPA, NJSCPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, NYSSA).
